![]() ![]() They all have the same criteria and that is to finish in the top 15. Continue on and you can select from one of three sponsors. CareerĪfter a brief cinematic you'll be introduced to your personal manager who will explain the sponsor system and the current situation, to receive an offer from an MX2 team you'll need to impress in the upcoming wildcard races. ![]() With all that over with, let's go into single player and start the career. Do so if you want, but the game is incredibly simple to get a hang of. You'll then be asked whether you'd like to look at the tutorial pages (there is no actual in-game tutorial). Your choice really doesn't matter, so choose whichever manufacturer you like the look of. After creating your rider you'll be brought to a screen where you can select a free motorbike from one of the seven manufacturers in the game. Other than these two rough patches, everything else seems to be functioning just as it should (I haven't checked out multiplayer yet though).Once you load the game up for the first time, you'll be prompted to create a rider. The rider who is able to claim 1st is so difficult to shake in fact, that after passing him (which was a small miracle in and of itself), the only way I was able to truly get him off my tail was to make him crash. Blowing past the entire pack is a breeze most of the time, but the riders in 3rd and ESPECIALLY 2nd place ride like they're a couple difficulty levels higher than they should be. The AI seems to be in need of some SERIOUS rebalancing on the Very Easy difficulty. This one is pretty simple compared to the last one. Before I started the next career event, I made sure that my fully upgraded setup had been selected, but my bike's stats once again came up as stock when I checked them in the pre-race menu. In between races I looked at my bike's stats and noticed that NONE of the upgrades were installed. During my first career race, I noticed that my bike didn't appear to be equipped with the upgrades I bought for it. Before beginning my career, I did some grinding in time attack and saved up the money needed to fully upgrade my bike. The first bug is a rather frustrating one that is related to career mode. Hello, Milestone! I'm very much enjoying the latest entry in the MXGP series, but I'm afraid I've experienced a couple of bugs in my time with the game so far. **DO NOT place x360ce in main game directory next to "mpgp3.exe", it will not work. "D:\Games\MXGP3 The Official Motocross Videogame\mxgp3\Binaries\Win64" NOTE: Place x360ce.exe in the Win64 directory of the game, same folder as X360CE - works with ANY game controller connected to the PC. Also MXGP3 failed to recognise the inputs when using some controllers, same controller on other games worked fine so just MXGP3.ĭS4 - is great if you have PS4 gamepads. ![]() JOYTOKEY - Analogue support isn't great, trying to turn corners is terrible when you map the keys to the joypads. Milestone have advised to use JoyToKey or DS4. Anyway just thought I'd post this for anyone having problems using other controllers. Although the hadlebars aren't that good, in 1st person view it's quite fun. I've been using a logitech gamepad and the Thrustmaster Freestyler Bike controller to play MXGP3. As a work around you can use the x360ce controller emulator. MXGP3 only supports Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers on the PC. Below is the current config data I copied from the GameUserSettings.ini file: Running the game 2560 x 1440 resolution because in 4K I get some stuttering (with Vertical Sync and Triple Buffering turned on in NVIDIA Control Panel). Very frustrating to get all set to race and then have your bike head down the start without you! I play in first person mode. If you use a PS4 pad, the DS4 program can help you set it up: The game officially supports Xbox 360 and Xbox One game pads. We've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reports, and we're working on it If you are experience this issue during the career, please check this announcement Then zip or rar what’s inside and paste a Dropbox, Wetransfer or Google Drive link into the Customer Support ticket.
